Our People - Land & Business

James has been with the Firm for 14 years and is part of our Land & Business team. 

Isha graduated with an LLB from Robert Gordon University in 2025 and recently completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde. She has joined Burnett & Reid as a trainee solicitor and is excited to begin her legal career within the firm's Land & Business team.

While studying, Isha volunteered as a Student Adviser with the Grampian Community Law Centre and took part in the University of Strathclyde's Mediation Clinic, developing her practical legal skills and gaining valuable experience in supporting clients.

Away from the office, Isha enjoys hiking, going to the gym, and painting. She has a keen interest in animal welfare and follows the work of the World Organisation for Animal Health. In her spare time, she can often be found spending time with her two cats, Laddo and Coco.

Margot has over 20 years' experience and has an interest in helping her clients with the purchase and sales of farms, farm land, salmon fishings and other rural conveyancing matters. 

Margot comes from a farming background and therefore, understanding concerns farmers may have and enjoys finding a solution for them.

Outside of work Margot enjoys spending time with her family.
